Christmas Decor (Week 15)
We always take time out of our holiday season to drive around and appreciate the beautiful decorations of this Christmas season. As for our house, we haven't really decorated our house in a few years, or even taken the previous decorations down to be honest. We've had our Christmas lights up for about 2 years now. But in our old neighborhood, everybody took part in some sort of decorating tradition. Our house was usually one of the most celebrated, with deer that moved and lit up, Santa in his sleigh with all 8 reindeer, lights along the roofs, candy canes lining the pathways, snowmen, and everything. Christmas spirit just doesn't mean what it use to it seems. Merry Christmas All.
Top Secret (Week 14)
I arrive at my locker, to find a letter with step by step instructions of a mission I am responsible of accomplishing. The FBI is in the process of a murder investigation, and I could be a very useful asset. They need an unknown face to go undercover as a 4th grader, and become close friends with one of the students. This would be a solo act, to where I get this person (who shall not be named) to invite me into their home. Their mother is a suspect of a mass murder crime committed 6 short months ago. The dad is a suspected accomplice, and they have reason to believe the 4th grader may be a part of it as well. So it is my sworn duty to find whatever information I can on these people.

Thanksgiving Traditions (Week 13)
Our family has never been huge on traditions. However, around this holiday season, we partake in a few ones that I still get excited about. Some of them include:
Every year on Thanksgiving night, the whole family sits down to watch my dad's favorite Christmas Movie, which is "It's a Wonderful Life". The next day is Black Friday. Usually, my sister and I go together with her aunt, but this year she recently had my baby nephew, Jackson, so she is unable to go. Instead of abandoning my tradition of going though, I invited my brother, and may also be going with my best friend since Kindergarten. Lastly, after all the Black Friday shopping is complete, we pick up my niece Lilly, and go to pick up our family Christmas Tree. When we get home, everybody as a family decorates the tree with lights, garland, and ornaments. It's a beautiful annual event, shared between us all.

Ultimate Fireball! (Week 12)
This game can have different levels of intensity and dangerousness. It's
quite simple, and vaguely resembles rules combined from Basketball and Bowling.
This game is simple, and everyone can win. It probably would be more popular as
a recreational sport rather than competitive. People would be taking a great
risk when agreeing to participate in this game.
So here it is: you will need lighter fluid, a blow torch, a bowling ball, and a fire extinguisher (in close range), and a basket of some sort to use as the target. The goal is to toss the flaming bowling ball into the basket from an agreed distance before the fire goes out, while simultaneously making sure not to catch your house on fire.
The rules are simple; you douse the ball in lighter fluid, light it up, and away you go… but you gotta be fast, and you gotta be smart… GOOD LUCK!
(I’d like to thank the co creators of Ultimate Fireball- Joey Tribbiani and Chandler Bing, for giving me the idea)

Bad Advice? (Week 11)
There is one subject that I never seemed to be able to agree with my parents (or most family members) about, and that is my relationship. For the longest time everyone in my family despised my boyfriend. They would constantly feed me what they call "advice", but pretty much just talked bad about the way he "treats me". Many people told me to break up with him, and just wouldn't lay off my back.
Now, it's 3 years later, and we're still going strong. My family has finally come around to the idea, and accept him completely. If I had followed their "advice" in the past, and left him; I would never have experienced so many of the things or feelings that I have in the 3 1/2 years that we've been together.

Showdown.
Now that we’re all up to speed, it’s time for our final fight of
the night… Our first and only head to head battle to the death… between our top

been given an advantage in this challenge; The Texas Chainsaw Massacre will
have the benefit of being provided.. of course.. A chainsaw, while the fight

MacGruber! (Week 9)
One of my all time favorite movies is definitely Macgruber! I remember the
first time I saw it was when my brother, Nate, finally came home for good. We
had kind of a movie marathon night with just the two of us. The whole evening
we watched all different kinds of movies, from Horror to Comedy to Drama.
Macgruber manages to make me laugh harder than almost any other movie I've ever
seen. I just love some of the quotes that are in this movie. Some including: “I
peed my pants…. I peed ‘em..” (Vicki St. Elmo), “Let’s go pound some Cunth”
(MacGruber), and, “Shut your butt!” (MacGruber).

To Emma (Week 8)
Dear Emma,
If you are reading this, you are old enough to understand some things that may be beginning to seem confusing. As you know, I am no longer apart of your life, but I have left some very important items behind, that could contribute to your future. If your dad is not reading this with you, that means he too has passed away, and all of our inheritance is to be left to you. You may not know much about me, but I want you to look at me as a true mother, who gave my whole heart for you to be happy.
When you were first born, there were some complications with the delivery, and I developed a life-threatening disease that wouldn't allow me to watch my beautiful baby girl turn into a successful young woman. The day of your birth, I was given 2 weeks left to live. I spent every waking moment clutching you in my arms, hoping even the slightest bit of my memory might rub off on you.
For words of encouragement; you're going to hear the same things over and over by adults throughout your entire life: Never give up, Set goals and work to achieve them, and dream big. I want to tell you that... Not everything goes as planned. You may set goals or have dreams that you'll never succeed at. That is all a part of life sweetheart. What I want you to remember is- there's always a light at the end of the tunnel, even when it feels like things could never get better... Keep walking until you find your treasure, your shoulder to lean on that will carry you through.
Your Loving Mother,
Haley <3

Sleepover from H*** (Week 7)
My scariest (scary scary) event is a very easy story to describe.
One night, a friend of mine had a sleepover, with a bunch of girls. Unfortunately, next door to her lived a "predator/pedophile", although he had never really made any physical threats until that night. She had a camper in her backyard, where we decided to camp out. It was an average sleepover, with snacks, stories, and truth-or-dare. We dared one girl to look out of the back window in the camper, and she noticed something suspicious. There was a man watching us from the yard next door. We zipped up the window, and locked the door. As we were cowering in the corner of the camper, We felt the side we were sitting on move. It slowly lifted up, and dropped with extreme force. The poles that held that end up, bent, and caused us to collapse. One by one, we began falling out of the side, and tried to scramble back to the top, where he couldn't touch us.
When we got back inside, Sara's mom noticed large fingerprints on another girl's back, where the man tried to grab her as she rolled out of the camper. This was definitely the scariest moment I have experienced.

All The Answers (Week 6)
The one question that haunts the minds of society is physically unanswerable. That is the secret to the meaning of life. Nobody knows the real reason that we were placed in this world, but everyone has their own personal theories.
If i had access to all of the information in the world, that would be the first mystery that I would seek the answer to.
If i have to guess, I would say the meaning of life is to make the most of what we are provided. It is our responsibility to work for success, and keep the world spinning and functional.

Into The Future (Week 5)
I believe the end of the American Society is coming near, although I'm not so sure that will be in my lifetime. I do think at some point, I will witness the start of World War III (presumably the Nuclear War). Tensions are already rising between countries and societies everywhere, those bands are bound to break eventually.
As for technology, I believe there will always continue to be new upgrades in phones, computers, apps, and televisions until the end of time. This will obviously occur as people evolve and make new discoveries. I plan to witness phones that you'll be able to digitally photograph yourself, and appear as a personal hologram, and be able to send messages like that as well.

BONES! (Week 4)
This is the perfect time for me to do this post. Next week, on September 16,
is the Season Premiere of my favorite show. After months of re-watching season
8 of the TV show, Bones Season 9 is finally coming! My mom and I are obsessed
with this TV show, and watch AT LEAST one episode together every day. In the
past three weeks, I have watched season 8, and various episodes from other
seasons (via Netflix), to fully prepare myself for the upcoming surprises in
season 9.
At the end of season 8, we were left with a very suspenseful cliffhanger, while there was an ongoing investigation to catch a brilliant serial killer, who is targeting the main characters of the show. Also, going against all of her beliefs, Bones finally proposed to Booth, and he said yes. When the murderer, Christopher Pelant, hears Dr. Brennan’s proposal, he decides to contact Booth, to ruin his plans. Pelant threatened to kill 5 innocent bystanders, if Booth went through with the wedding. At the very end of the last episode, Booth tells Bones that he doesn’t want to get married, but can’t tell her the actually reason. I’ve been going crazy wondering what is going to happen to their relationship, and how the Jeffersonian team plans to catch Pelant.

Excuses, Excuses (Week 3)
I'm not the best at coming up with excuses, and I'm definitely not good at using them. I'm a very bad liar, so if I want to get out of something, I'm better off giving them the actual reason why I don't want to do it. Some of my excuses can be very cliche, such as: My stomach hurts, I have a headache, I'm too tired, and the easiest one- I already made other plans. Some of my favorite excuses that I have actually used include my dog was in labor (true excuse), my computer crashed, I had to visit a family member in the hospital. One of the craziest excuses I can think of, that could still be considered somewhat "realistic" would have to be: I got arrested while trying to break into the library after hours, to find extra research on the "assignment".

What Do You See? (Week 2)
I see just various insects, bugs, accessories (crowns, necklaces), and skulls. I agree that some of what a person sees could have to do with their personality, because everyone could interpret the shapes to be something different; it depends on how a person's brain functions on what they might see in the picture. I also think that some of the shapes so closely represent a specific image or shape, that the brain is automatically meant to interpret it as that. I guess if someone sees a lot of disturbing images in the inkblot, that is probably the kind of thoughts they have on their mind at the time, and further research could prove if that's what they think about frequently, or if it really did just happen to be what the saw in the picture.

Senior Year! (Week 1)
Ahhhh! Finally... the last year of high school, and I personally couldn't be happier. Although, it did come a little sooner than I had hoped; I could've survived another month or so of my nice relaxing summer, but all good times have to come to an end eventually. None of my classes are going to be super hard, but I do know that my computer class is going to be a breeze. I'm taking Information Processing 1A, and it deals strictly with 'Microsoft Word' and 'Microsoft Excel', which I've been capable of operating since like 3rd grade (at least). My favorite class is definitely going to be psychology, because that's what I'm going to major in at college. It is a more demanding class, which only gives me more of a desired challenge that I've been looking for. The greatest thing about Psychology will be learning the functions of the human brain, and what causes people to behave the ways that they do, and develop the mental disabilities that more and more people seem to have these days. This first week of school seemed to go by fast, but I think it's still too early to tell how the year will be in terms of my attendance, social life, or education. I hope to see my senior year go by fast, and just to enjoy it while it lasts.
